New Update Starts Rolling Out To Fix Issues in OnePlus 5

OnePlus has announced that it has commenced roll-out of OxygenOS 4.5.7 OTA for OnePlus 5 to fix certain issues in its recently launched smartphone. This new update via OTA has started yesterday and will reach a small percentage of users followed by broader reach.

The new update will address issues of standby battery enhancements, EIS for 4k video recording among others, details of which are given below:

New additions:

  • Introducing of new OnePlus Slate font
  • Addition of EIS for 4k video recording


  • Updated Android security patch level to 1st July 2017
  • Updated to latest GMS package


  • Wi-Fi connectivity improvements
  • Smoother automatic backlight adjustment
  • Standby battery enhancements

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed sound being played out in the speakers occasionally when earphones are plugged in
  • Fixed camera shutter sound bug in silent mode for Indian region
  • Fixed missing sound channels when recording videos

This phone is powered by the latest 2.45GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 64-bit 10nm processor with Adreno 540 GPU.
