HMD Global has launched today its flagship Nokia 8 smartphone in India. This phone is priced Rs. 36,999 and will be available in Polished Blue, Tempered Blue, Steel and Polished Copper colors from second week of October.
The USP of this phone is its Dual Camera set-up on the back and it is armed with Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform with Adreno 540 GPU. This phone comes with 4GB DDR4X RAM and 64GB (UFS 2.1) of internal storage whch can be extended upto 256GB with microSD card. This phone is packed with 3090mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. This phone sports 5.3-inch (2560×1440 pixels) Quad HD LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and 700 nits brightness.
On the imaging front, this phone is mounted with Dual primary cameras of 13MP (RGB) with OIS + 13MP (Mono), 1.12um, f/2.0 aperture, 76.9 degree wide-angle lens, PDAF, IR range finder, dual tone flash. For selfies, it has 13MP PDAF camera with 1.12um, f/2.0 aperture, 78.4 wide-angle lens and display flash. The front and rear-facing cameras boasts of ZEISS optics and incorporates special feature called Dual Sight located within the camera app which harnesses both the front and rear cameras for real-time live streaming to social feeds such as Facebook and YouTube.
This phone also has OZO Audio combined with three microphones with exclusive Nokia acoustic algorithms to capture audio with immersive 360 degree spatial surround sound.

This phone has dimensions of 151.5 x 73.7 x 7.9mm (camera bump 0.4mm) and weighs 160g. Nokia 8 has full unibody design and is made from a single block of 6000 series aluminium and select models feature a high-gloss mirror finish.
