Demo’ed at Mobile World Congress, Nokia 808 PureView made impression with it’s superior quality camera, shooting images at 41 Megapixel, capturing HD videos. Taking a move forward, Nokia has launched 808 PureView in India at a press conference in New Delhi on 13th June, 2012.
Greatly emphasizing on the camera abilities of Nokia 808 PureView, the phone was launched at an introductory price of Rs. 33,899. It’ll be available in India market (retail stores) starting from today itself.
Attending the launch event, all I can say is that the focus point of the device was the immensely powerful, one of its kind camera, capable of doing things that no other existing device can do. Following are some of the worth mentioning specs of Nokia 808 PureView:
- Based on Symbian OS
- 1.3 Ghz processor
- 41 Megapixel camera with digital zoom
- Full HD video recording (1080p) with presence of digital zoom
- Powerful xenon flash
As of now Nokia has confirmed that 808 PureView will be available in 2 color variants i.e Black and White however, more color options might be available in future depending on the response received.
