Nokia has added two new additions to its Lumia series, by launching today its two new budget Windows Phone 8 smartphones – Lumia 520 and Lumia 720 – in India. Nokia India has announced that the Lumia 520 will be available in the early April and will be priced approximately Rs. 10,500, whereas the Lumia 720 will debut in India in the mid of April. The company has not disclosed the price of the Lumia 720, but it is expected to be around Rs. 15,000.
Nokia Lumia 520 is the most affordable Windows Phone 8 smartphone. It has a 4-inch super sensitive IPS display and a 5 megapixel camera. Camera features include Smart Shoot, CinemaGraph and more.
Cinemagraph adds motion to still images that can then be shared with friends on Facebook, Twitter or via email. Smart Shoot lets people create the perfect group picture, taking multiple images and selecting the best facial expressions from each, or even remove people from the shot. The easy to use Panorama lens capture super-wide-angled photos to take in more of the scene.
Running Windows Phone 8 OS, the Nokia Lumia 520 comes in five colours. – yellow,red,cyan,white and black and with changeable shells. The Lumia 520 supports micro SIM and has a 1430 mAh battery. The phone has a 1GHz dual-core processor and 512MB RAM.The Lumia 520 has an internal memory of 8GB; its memory is expandable up to 64GB using a microSD card.
The sleek and stylish mid-range Lumia 720 sports a 4.3-inch display and is super sensitive like the Lumia 920. This phone is packed with 1GHz dual core processor, and has 512 MB RAM. It has 8GB internal memory, 7GB free SkyDrive storage and microSD support up to 64GB. Boasting of unibody design, this phone has 2,000mAh battery, wireless charging and NFC.
Nokia claims that the Lumia 720 offers good viewing angles and decent readability under the sun. The Lumia 720 comes with a 6.7 megapixel camera, and features a large f/1.9 aperture with Carl Zeiss optics that are designed to deliver bright, clear pictures day and night, while the HD-quality, wide-angle front-facing camera for making the photography and video calling experience more enjoyable.
Nokia Lumia 720 includes Nokia Music and the HERE location suite. This smartphones will also have imaging features like Cinemagraph, Panorama, PhotShoot and PhotoBeamer.
The Nokia Lumia 720 will also come in five eye-catching colours – yellow, red,cyan, whit and black.

The phones were unveiled by Nikki Barton,VP, Smart Devices, UX Design, Nokia and Masaba Gupta,a renowned fashion designer, who emphasized the role of design in conceptualizing the phones.
