Nokia Lumia 630 With Dual SIM Launched At Rs. 11,500

IMG_1592As expected, Nokia India has launched today Lumia 630 smartphone with Dual-SIM capabilites which runs on the latest Windows 8.1 OS, at MRP of Rs. 11,500. The Lumia 630 is the first ever Dual-SIM smartphone from the stable of Nokia. Nokia has also announced the single SIM variant of Lumia 630. The Dual SIM variant of Lumia 630 will start selling in India from 16th May and the single SIM variant will be available by the end of this month at MRP of Rs. 10,500. The specifications of both the variants are same.

nokia_lumia_630_dual_sim_colorThe Lumia 630 has a matte polycarbonate design with changeable shells available in bold new colors such as bright orange, bright green and bright yellow, in addition to matte black and white.

The Lumia 630 feature a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) ClearBlack LCD display with Gorilla Glass 3 with a pixel density of 221ppi. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor coupled with 512MB of RAM and 8GB of built-in storage, which can be expanded upto 128GB via MicroSD card. Nokia has let down as far as RAM capacity is concerned. They should have provided minimum 1GB of RAM. For shooting, the Lumia 630 is equipped with a 5-megapixel rear autofocus camera and no front shooter, which is not good news for the selfies enthusiasts. This smrtphone is fuelled by a 1830mAh battery.

The Nokia Lumia 630 has a useful new speedy Word Flow keyboard for predictive typing. One need not jump the keys to type but on the contrary you can move with the flow on the keybaord. This smartphone comes with pre-installed useful apps including WhatsApp, WeChat, Nokia Camera, HERE Maps, and free Nokia MixRadio.This device also has ‘SensorCore’ feature which include exercise and exploration apps like Bing Health and Fitness, which provides real-time monitoring and data storing like steps taken, calories burned, and miles walked.

Nokia India is bundling the Lumia with 630 with few free goodies such as free premium video app Box TV which will come pre-loaded and offers sitcoms, Hollywood, and Bollywood content, free of cost for 2 months, free eBooks worth Rs. 2000 on Flipkart, six free games by Gamesloft for gaming and the NexGTv app for cricket fans, allowing them to live streaming all the IPL action for free. Music fanatics will be able to get their hands on Coloud Pop headgear at a 50% discount. All Vodafone subscribers can also enjoy 1GB of 3G data per month for a period of 2 months on the Lumia 630.

At the launch event, Nokia also introduced  Treasure Tag, which is the size of a matchbox, and is capable of alerting the users when they are separated from their precious items. Nokia also introduced the Bluetooth Mini Speaker which can be paired with the Lumia 630. This pocket sized speaker connects wirelessly using the new easy to use Device Hub app and plays for 15 hours.

The Treasure Tag will be available in select stores across India from May 31, 2014 at an MRP of INR 2099/- , while the Mini Speaker will start selling in the last week of June at an MRP of INR 5499/-.
