Nokia Lumia 630 With Windows 8.1 OS with Dual-SIM, is set to debut in India on 12th May. We have received press invite from Nokia which read, “Fast”, “Precise” and “Powerful” device to be unveiled, which has”The Power Of Two”. This invite clearly gives hint of the Lumia 630, which was announced last month at Microsoft’s Build Conference in San Francisco. The Lumia 630 was also showcased in New Delhi on 3rd April and Nokia India representative told us at that time that this smartphone will be officially launched sometimes in the month of May.
The Lumia 630 will be priced in the range of Rs. 9000 to Rs. 10,000, to compete with upcoming Moto E, which is being launched on 13th May, and the budget smartphones such as HTC Desire 210; Moto G, which is selling like hot cakes and Samsung Galaxy Samsung’s Duos range.
The Lumia 630 feature a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) ClearBlack LCD display with Gorilla Glass 3 with a pixel density of 221ppi, and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor coupled with 512MB of RAM and 8GB of built-in storage, which can be expanded upto 128GB via MicroSD card. For shooting, the Lumia 630 is equipped with a 5-megapixel rear autofocus camera and there is no front shooter. It is fuelled by a 1830mAh battery.
The Nokia Lumia 630 has new speedy Word Flow keyboard, and come with pre-installed useful apps including WhatsApp, WeChat, Nokia Camera, HERE Maps, and free Nokia MixRadio.This smartphone also has ‘SensorCore’ feature which include exercise and exploration apps like Bing Health and Fitness, for real-time monitoring and data storing like steps taken, calories burned, and miles walked.
The Lumia 630 comes with a new matt finish and will be available in bright orange, bright green, bright yellow, white and black colors.
