We have written various articles in the past that Nokia should have used Android platform alongside Windows to expand its reach to maximum audience who have become crazy about Android. Alas that was not to be and Nokia realised the importance of Android smartphones very late, and had showcased its first-ever X range of smartphones based on the Android Open Source Project (AOSP), in the Mobile World Congress in February.
Since then, Nokia has rolled out Nokia X range of smartphones in various countries and Nokia X debuted in India in March at Rs. 8,599. This is an ideal device for Nokia fanatics who have been longing for Android smartphone and Nokia X has respectable specifications for the price it comes at and offers hardware sturdiness Nokia is known for. In Nokia X, the customers can use Android apps alongwith Asha and Lumia range of Windows phones features for the unique experience.
This phone is ideal for the starters as it is now available in the range of Rs. 7000 from various sources and one can have entry-level experience of Android world on Nokia X. Nokia X does not not have access to the Google Play Store for downloading the apps. The users will be required to download the curated apps from the Nokia Store, but the first time users of Android will not mind it as they are getting solid hardware and leap into Android and Windows domain.
Nokia X sport 4-inch 480×800 scratch-proof display and is powered by 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor. This smartphone comes with 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. This phone is fuelled by a sturdy 1500mAh battery. Nokia X is equipped with a 3-megapixel rear camera, but there is no front camera. This phone supports Dual-Sim.
Nokia X comes with free access to Here Maps, with offline maps and integrated turn-by-turn navigation, and Nokia MixRadio for free music streaming and downloadable playlists. All devices are also pre-loaded with a variety of third-party apps and games including BBM, Plants vs Zombies 2, Viber, Vine and Twitter.
The emphasis on Nokia X smartphone is on Microsoft services such as Bing search, Skype communications and OneDrive file storage. Nokia is bundling the Nokia X with 7GB free cloud storage using OneDrive and additional 3GB of consumers enable camera back up.

You have a valid point but think it from a different angle. For those who trust the “Nokia” brand more than MS itself, I think its a good albeit debatable way to get the people acquainted to Windows Phone 🙂
nokia x is the best ideal set for starter, no its for stupid and for those who wants to waste money, 2years old chipset, just 512mb ram, no front camera, no flash, 3mp camera, no auto focus, no play store, no official google apps.
and mix radio app is no free 100/- rs per month fee…. go ahead and waste your money and be fool…
