At an event in New Delhi, OnePlus 12 was launched for global markets. The OnePlus 12 is available in two colorways — Flowy Emerald and Silky Black. The Flowy Emerald color is inspired by spectacle of the braided Dart River in New Zealand, where emerald ribbons pulsate with vibrant energy. It captures the essence of natural wonders and employs state-of-the-art AG technology and a precision etching process to bring a premium texture with exquisite dynamism to the phone’s glass back cover.
The OnePlus 12 sports a 6.82 inch (3168×1440 pixels) 120Hz 2K Super Fluid AMOLED display with peak brightness of 4500nits and protection of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. It is packed with 5400 mAh battery with 100W SUPERVOOC fast wired charging which can charge 1% to 100% in 26 minutes and 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging. This phone is powered by the latest Octa Core Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor with Adreno 750 GPU which is paired with 12GB/16GB LPDDR5X RAM with 256GB / 512GB UFS 4.0 Storage supported by RAM-Vitalization and ROM-Vitalization.
The display has feature of Aqua Touch which can detect wet fingers and water droplets on the screen and compensate accordingly, significantly alleviating issues related to sweaty hands and mistouches during both intense gameplay and everyday use.
The OnePlus 12 comes with Dual Cryo-velocity VC Cooling System, featuring a 3D capillary dissipation structure and a dual VC design with OnePlus’ largest-ever surface area covering 9,140 mm², to significantly reduce overheating. Its omnidirectional antenna design, with a total of 16 antennas, enables the OnePlus 12 to provide high-speed connectivity.
On the imaging front, OnePlus 12 is equipped with the latest self-developed HDR algorithm and is supported by the 4th Gen Hasselblad Camera system. It is armed with industry-first LYT808 50MP main camera co-developed with Sony with OIS, , OV64B 64MP 3X periscope telephoto camera, and IMX581 48MP 114° ultra-wide camera. For selfies, this phone has been given 32MP front camera with Sony IMX615 sensor with features of up to 4k 30 fps video recording.
This phone runs on Android 14 with OxygenOS 14 for global markets. It has In-display fingerprint sensor and is dust and water resistance (IP65). It comes with alert slider which has been moved to the left-hand side of the phone. It is also equipped with Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. This phone offers connectivity options of 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS (L1+L5 Dual Band) + GLONASS, USB Type-C, NFC and Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ad 2X2 MIMO. This phone weighs 220gms.
The OnePlus 12 will be available in two variants, the 12/256GB option which will be priced at INR 64,999 and the 16/512GB option which will be priced at INR 69,999 and will go on sale at 12:00 PM on 30th January.
