OnePlus 3 flagship phone has been launched in India with 6GB RAM. It is now available on Amazon.in at Rs. 27,999 without any invite. Currently, the Graphite variant of the OnePlus 3 is available n India and the Soft Gold variant will be launched in the near future.
The OnePlus 3 features a 5.5 inch AMOLED display (resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels at 401 ppi pixel density) with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It is packed with Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 processor combined with GPU Adreno 530. It comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
On the camera front, it is equipped with 16MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, Optical Image stabilisation and Electronic Image Stabilization, laser autofocus and LED flash. It also has features of Smart Capture, which allows users to capture the ideal shot in any environment. Smart Capture functionalities include HD Mode, Auto HDR and Dynamic De-noise, which compares several frames of the same photo and blends them together in post-processing to reduce noise.
This phone also houses an 8 MP front snapper with f/2.0 aperture and also includes new Smile Capture feature ideal for selfies. This phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS based Oxygen OS.
This phone gets its juice from 3000mAh battery which offers faster charging with help of the unique Dash Charge technology. This unique Dash Charge technology doesn’t let phone overheat with help of the Dash Charge Adapter, as claimed by the company. Unlike other quick charging technologies, Dash Charge replenishes more than 60% of the battery in 30 minutes and continues fast charging even when streaming video or playing energy-intensive games.
This phone also incorporates fingerprint scanner on the home button which is claimed to unlock the device in under 0.3 seconds. This is 4G LTE supporting device and will also offer other standard connectivity features including USB Type-C 1.0 reversible connector.
This phone has all-metal unibody, carved from a single slab of space-grade aluminum alloy and is just 7.3 mm thin.
The OnePlus 3 comes with dual nano SIM card support. Indian users will get complimentary subscription of 12 months of ad-free Saavn Pro. In addition to that, double data for 12 months is offered by Idea Cellulat and 12 months of accidental damage coverage through the ‘OnePlus Care app’ powered by Servify is also on offer.
