Hyve Buzz (Rs. 13,999) & Storm (Rs. 8,499) Phones With Stock Android Lollipop OS Launched

Hyve is new enterant to smartphones market in India and launched today two budget phones – Hyve Buzz and Hyve Storm at Rs. 13,999 and Rs. 8,499 respectively. Hyve Buzz is available in Twilight Black, Midnight Blue, and Sunset Wine colours and comes with 2 years warranty whereas Hyve Storm is available in snow white and mystic grey colors and comes with one year warranty. These two phone will be available from 22nd June on e-commerce portals – Amazon, Flipkart and Gadgets 360.

These phones run on pure Android Lollipop 5.1 OS and will provide true Android experience as their are no bloatwares. The company has promside to update these phones to latest Marshmallow OS very shortly.

Buzz__Image_1__1465989467_58095Hyve Buzz – This phone has a rubber back and the power buttton and volume rockers have been given on the right edge on the back cover. This phone features a 5.5-inch FHD (1920x 1080p) 2.5D Arc Glass Curved display with MiraVision technology which enhances picture quality. This phone is packed with MediaTek MT6753, 1.5GHz., Octa-Core processor with MALI T720 Graphics plus 3GB LPDDR3 RAM and 48GB of internal storage which can be further extended upto 144GB via microSD card.

This phone is equipped with a 13 megapixel rear camera with Sony Exmoor RSTM sensor, Dual LED flash and Dual Pixel for low light imaging. It is coupled with a 5 megapixel front camera. The camera is capable of 1080p video recording and also has HDR capability.

The Hyve Buzz comes with a 2500mAh TrueLife battery which is claimed to offer 15 hours of talk time and up to 22 days of standby time. This phone comes with USB Type-C reversible connector for fast charging.

This phone incorporates fingerprint scanner on the back with Touch2Call technology. Besides enabling you to open the phone with registered fingerprints, you can also use this for speed dialling. You can configure your particular finger for pre-determinded number and by touching that particular finger, you can unlock the phone and also speed dial that particular number.

This is Dual-SIM phone and you can use two SIM cards and one different slot has been given for microSD card. This phone supports 4G LTE and is ready for VoLTE. It also offers other connectivity options of Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, FM radio etc. This phone also has NFC, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Proximity sensors and Compass.

This phone has IPX 4 Certified water resistance feature also.

Hyve Storm – On the other hand, Hyve Storm has metel bezel design and sports a 5-inch HD display with MediaTek MiraVision technology for better sharpness. Under the hood is  MediaTek MT6735 1.3GHz Quad-core processor paired with 2GB LPDDR3 RAM and 16 GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 80 GB via microSD card.

This phone comes with a 13MP rear camera with PDAF system and 5MP front camera with Samsung 3L8 sensor. This camera has 1080p video recording capability and also features burst mode. This phone is packed with 2000mAh TruLife battery.

Unlike the Hyve Buzz, the Storm has a hybrid slot for either two SIMs or one SIM and one microSD card at a time. This phone supports 4G LTE and also provide other connectivity options of Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS etc. This phone does not have fingerprint sensor.

Both the new Hyve phones come with HyveCare app for after sales service. The company is also offering pick-up and drop services across 42,000 Pin Codes across the country for the convenience of the customers.
