After much leaks and rumors, OnePlus 5T has been launched globally at an event in NewYork which was live streamed in India in PVR theatres.
To catch up with the fast emerging trend, OnePlus 5T flaunts a 6 inch AMOLED full view display with 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution, 401 PPI, 18:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on it. This is the main difference between OnePlus 5T and OnePlus 5 launched in the month of June this year . Then their is minor tweaking in Telephoto lens of rear camera in OnePlus 5T. On the design front, Fingerprint sensor has been placed on the back panel as the new iteration has bezel-lesss display. The 5T also comes with face unlocking feature and support for Dual Apps for personal and professional use. Rest of the features remain the same in new variant compared to OnePlus 5.
Other Specifications of 5T:
The new variant is armed with same octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor with Adreno 540 GPU combined with 6GB RAM + 64GB of internal storage and alternatively with 8GB RAM + 128GB of internal storage. This phone also runs on Oxygen OS based on Android 7.1.1
On the imaging front, this phone too is mounted with Dual Rear cameras – 16 MP main camera with Sony IMX 398 sensor, f/1.7 aperture, EIS, dual LED flash and secondary Telephoto camera of 20 MP with Sony IMX 350 sensor, and f/1.7 aperture compared to f/2.6 aperture on OnePlus 5, Bokeh effect feature, 4K videos recording and 2x zoom capabilities.
For selfies, this phone is equipped with same 16MP front-facing camera with Sony IMX371 sensor and f/2.0 aperture.
OP 5T also is packed with same 3300mAh battery with path breaking Dash Charge and which can fill the full battery from zero to full in just 30 minutes. It comes with Hall, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Proximity, Ambient light sensors and Electronic compass. This phone supports Dual SIM (nano + nano).
On the connectivity front, OnePlus 5T also provides options of Wi-Fi: 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 2.4/5 GHz, 2×2 MIMO, Bluetooth 5.0 aptX & aptX HD, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou.This phone supports Dual SIM (nano + nano).
OnePlus 5T will be available in Midnight Black color and is priced Rs. 32,999 for 6GB+64GB variant and Rs. 37,999 for 8GB+128GB variant. It will be available via early access sale on Amazon.in, oneplusstore.in and OnePlus experience store in Bangalore on November 21st, 2017 at 4.30 pm. It will be availabe via open sales from November 28, 2017 in India.
