OnePlus 9 Series Smartphones Launched, Starting at Rs. 39,999

OnePlus has launched today three new smartphones in OnePlus 9 Series comprising of OnePlus 9 Pro, OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9R. These phones come with the Hasselblad Camera for Mobile system and with feature of Natural Color Calibration with Hasselblad, the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro claim to bring more accurate and natural-looking colors to photos.

The OnePlus 9 Pro is equipped with 48MP main camera with Sony IMX789 sensor, large 1/1.4” sensor, 50MP ultra-wide camera with a 1/1.56” Sony IMX766 sensor to capture high quality macro photos, with the ability to focus from as close as 4 cm away from your subject, 8MP telephoto camera with 3.3x (77mm) zoom with OIS to reduce blur, maxing out at 30x digital zoom and 2MP monochrome camera. The rear camera also has features of recording 8k video at 30 fps and 4K video at 120fps. For selfie, this phone has 16MP front shooter with 1/1.43? Sony IMX471 sensor and feature of EIS.

The OnePlus 9 Pro flaunts a 6.7 inch (1440 x 3216 pixels) Quad HD+ 2.0 Fluid AMOLED display with LTPO, Smart 120Hz refresh rate with support for HDR 10+. Low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO) technology enables the OnePlus 9 Pro’s display to automatically adjust the refresh rate from 120 Hz all the way down to 1 Hz to match the current user scenario, resulting in significantly lower power consumption. This phone is powered by the lateset Octa Core Snapdragon 888 5nm processor with Adreno 660 GPU. This phone comes in two variants of 8GB LPDDR5 RAM with 128GB (UFS 3.1) storage and 12GB LPDDR4X RAM with 256GB (UFS 3.1) storage. This phone is packed with 4500mAh battery with Warp Charge 65T which can charge from 1-100% in just 29 minutes. OnePlus 9 Pro has a thin 2.2 mm aluminum frame and has curved display which has been optimized to minimize discoloration and mistouches. This phone comes with an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.

The OnePlus 9 Pro comes in three nature-inspired colors – Morning Mist, Pine Green and Stellar Black.

On the camera front, Hasselblad Camera for Mobile on the OnePlus 9 uses the same advanced color standards as the OnePlus 9 Pro – Natural Color Calibration with Hasselblad. The triple camera system on OnePlus 9 comprises of 50MP ultra-wide camera as the OnePlus 9 Pro, with a 1/1.56” Sony IMX766 sensor and uniquely curved Freeform Lens to minimize edge distortion. The 48MP main camera comes with 1/1.43” Sony IMX689 sensor, 2×2 OCL, 12-bit RAW, dual native ISO and 3-HDR and 2MP monochrome camera. The rear camera can do 8k video recording at 30 fps and 4K video at 60fps. It also has 16MP front camera with 1/1.43? Sony IMX471 sensor with features of EIS.

The OnePlus 9 also features a sleek look and has curved design on the back. It comes in three colors inspired by nature – Winter Mist, Arctic Sky and Astral Black. This phone comes with an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.

It is powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 870 7nm processor with Adreno 650 GPU. This phone also comes in two variants of 8GB LPDDR5 RAM with 128GB (UFS 3.1) storage and 12GB LPDDR4X RAM with 256GB (UFS 3.1) storage. It is also packed with 4500mAh battery with Warp Charge 65 Fast Charging.

For imaging, this phone is equipped with 48MP rear camera with Sony IMX586 sensor, 16MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture, 5MP macro camera and 2MP monochrome camera. It also has feature of recording 4K video at 60fps. This phone also has 16MP front camera with 1/1.43? Sony IMX471 sensor and feature of EIS.

The OnePlus 9R comes in 2 colors of Lake Blue and Carbon Black.

All the three phones are Dual Nano SIM supporting phone, run on Android 11 with OxygenOS 11 and have in-display fingerprint sensor. These phones come with Dual Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and offer connectivity options of 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax 2X2 MIMO, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS+ GLONASS, USB Type-C and NFC.

The OnePlus 9 Pro and OnePlus 9 will go on sale on 1st April and 15th April, respectively. Prior to open sales, the OnePlus Community can get their hands on the new OnePlus 9 Pro on 31st March as part of the early access sale.
