China specific OnePlus Ace 3 was announced in China yesterday and this phone will be called OnePlus 12R for the global markets. As you are aware, OnePlus 12R alongwith OnePlus 12 will be launched in India on 23rd January at an event in New Delhi.
In OnePlus Ace 3, iconic Alert Slider is now located in its new home on the left of the phone. This change of location of Alert Slider has been done to introduce a new integrated antenna system for enhanced performance during online gaming sessions.
On the specifications front, OnePlus Ace 3 sports a 6.78 inch (2780×1264 pixels) AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh ratre, 4500 nits peak brightness, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and protection of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. OnePlus Ace 3 runs on Android 14 with ColorOS 14 on top whereas the OnePlus 12R will have layer of Oxygen OS for global markets. It is equipped with Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. This phone offers connectivity options of 5G SA/ NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.3, Beidou, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C and Wi-Fi 7 802.11 be (2.4GHz + 5GHz). For imaging, this phone is armed with 50MP primary camera with 1/1.56?
