OnePlus today officially launched the new OnePlus Pad 2 in North America, India and Europe. The new tablet features an industry-leading Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 platform, an exclusive 12.1-inch large 3K display and six stereo speakers.
OnePlus Pad 2 sports a 12.1-inch 3K display with optimal 7:5 aspect ratio, peak brightness of 900 nits, and 3,000 x 2,120 pixels at a density of 303 PPI, plus Dolby Vision. Backed by an advanced software algorithm that dynamically adjusts the refresh rate seamlessly between 30 Hz, 48 Hz, 50 Hz, 60 Hz, 90 Hz, 120 Hz, and 144 Hz based on the detected scenario, the OnePlus Pad 2 delivers the most fluid visual experience possible.
The OnePlus Pad 2 also offers immersive hi-resolution spatial audio through six strategically positioned speakers on both sides of the device. On top of this, the OnePlus Pad 2’s Hi-Res certification ensures superior audio quality when paired with wired or wireless earbuds such as the OnePlus Buds 3 or OnePlus Buds Pro 2.
This tablet is powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipse twith Adreno 750 GPU and is paired with 8GB / 12GB LPDDR5X RAM with 128GB / 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It is packed with a large 9,510mAh battery supported by 67W SUPERVOOC Flash Charge. The battery can be fully charged in just 81 minutes.
This tablet is equipped with centrally positioned 8MP front camera and 13MP rear camera which eliminate the need to adjust the tablet’s position when taking photos and videos. It runs on Android 14 with OxygenOS 14.
To enhance productivity on the OnePlus Pad 2, OnePlus has introducing two accessories for this tablet— the OnePlus Stylo 2 and the OnePlus Smart Keyboard.
Crafted from leather-like material, the OnePlus Stylo 2 boasts hyper-realistic pen-tip vibration achieved through an advanced linear motor. The new OnePlus Smart Keyboard doubles the size of the previous 3,483mm² touchpad with an expansive 8,640mm² touch-sensitive area. Through a robust magnetic attachment, it also offers adjustable tilt angles between 110° and 165° and provides maximum flexibility with its ability to be used while physically attached to the OnePlus Pad 2 via a pogo-pin or used detached when connected via Bluetooth.
The 6.49mm slim and 584g lightweight pad features a Nimbus Gray all-metal unibody crafted with precision CNC cutting, sandblasting, and anodization to create a sleek and seamless device with smooth finish for enhanced durability and scratch resistance.
