Oplus India has launched its first smartphone in India known as XonPhone at Rs. 7,999 which will be sold exclusively in India by Snapdeal.com. This is the second product launched by Oplus India in partnership with Snapdeal. The first device to be launched in India was XonPad 7 tablet, which is claimed to have got very good response from Indian consumers.
Oplus XonPhone 5 fetures a 5-inch(720x1280p) IPS OGS display.
It is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek quad-core processor, paired with 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage expandable upto 32GB via microSD card.
The phone is equipped with an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and houses a 2MP front-facing camera.
The Dual-SIM smartphone runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat, and is packed with a 2,000mAh battery.
For connectivity, the phone offers 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and FM radio options.
The company claims to have strong after-sales-service infrastructure with 350 service centres across India. They also offer pick and drop service for the defective handset.
