Uber, the popular on-demand car service has announced the launch its Windows Phone app. Uber app was already available on Android and iOS platform and now they have also introduced this on Windows Store as Windows Phone users form the second largest smartphone user base in India.

Gone are the days when hitching a ride was cumbersome procedure as you were put on hold for long by the cab service providers. According to Uber, with their app, you can track the arrival of your ride on the app, receive a notification when the car arrives, ride to your destination comfortably, and pay seamlessly with your registered credit card.
To make popular their service and app, Uber is offering TWO FREE RIDES worth Rs. 500 each on signing up with Uber on Lumia devices. The Uber service has recently entered India and currently, this cab service is available in six cities including New Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune and Mumbai.
