Oppo F5 smatphone has been launched today at an event in Mumbai. This is the first smartphone from the stable of Oppo to have minimum bezels on all the four sides of display to provide more real estate for enjoying multi media and watching your clicked images and selfies on bigger display.
On the specifications front, Oppo F5 flaunts a 6 inch FHD+ display with resolution of 2160 × 1080 pixels with 18:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D curved glass with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. This phone gets its strength from 2.5Ghz 64-bit MediaTek Helio P23 octa-core chipset with Mali-G71 GPU. It comes in two variants of 4GB RAM with 32GB storage and 6GB RAM with 64GB of internal storage. Both the internal storage are extendable to 256GB with microSD card. This phone runs on Android 7.1 Nougat with layer of Color OS 3.2. This phone is packed with 3,200 mAh non-removable battery with fast charger.
Oppo is known for powerful cameras on their smartphones and this phone too has impresssive cameras on the front and back. For selfies, it is mounted with 20MP front-facing camera which has f/2.0 aperture, 1/2.8 inch sensor, screen flash with feature of bokeh effect. Oppo F5 is the first smartphone which has an industry first Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology for capturing perfect selfies. Integrated into front camera, AI Beauty technology uses intelligence from a massive global photo database, to beautify a selfie shot. The rear camera has 16MP sensor with LED flash and f/1.8 aperture.
This phone incorporates fingerprint sensor on the back and also boasts of facial recognition feature to unlock the phone. This is Dual SIM phone with dedicated slot for microSD card. For connectivity, this phone offers options of 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, 3.5mm audio jack and FM radio.
This phone has unibody metal design and comes in Gold and Black colors. For 64GB variant, Red color will also be available. It is light weight device and weighs 152g. It is priced Rs. 19,990 for 4GB + 32GB variant which will go on sale from 9th November via ofline retail stores and exclusively on Flipkart. 6GB + 64GB variant is priced Rs. 24,990 and will start selling in the month of December.
