After launching its flagship Oppo N1 in India in January, Oppo of China has introduced another flagship device in India – Oppo Find 7. This phablet will be available in black and white colors at Rs. 37,990 from the next month. According to the company, Oppo Find 7 is the first smartphone in India that sports a 5.5” inch Quad HD screen with a 2560 x 1440 resolution and 538 PPI display. The Oppo Find 7 is 4G/ LTE compatible smartphone.
This smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor (MSM8974AC) coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The internal storage can be expanded upto 128GB via microSD card. The smartphone runs a customised Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS, which is called the ColorOS 1.2.
The Oppo Find 7 is equipped with a powerful 13 MP Sony Exmor IMX214 sensor rear camera with LED flash and a wide f/2.0 aperture that allows more light, which enables you to take images in good quality even in low light conditions. This smartphone also houses a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with BSI sensor, which is more than sufficient for taking selfies. This smartphone is claimed to record 4K videos and also record 720p videos at 120fps for slow motion.
The Oppo Find is packed with a strong 3000 mAh battery. To solve the problem of fast charging, the Oppo Find 7 comes with the VOOC fast charging technology. With the help of this technology, you can charge upto 75% of battery in just 30 minutes.
For connectivity, the Oppo Find 7 supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, AGPS, USB OTG (on-the-go), 3G and 4G LTE.
The other features of Find 7 are that you can operate it even some water droplets are on the display or while wearing gloves. This device has skyline notification on the phone which produces an aesthetically pleasing blue oscillating light so that you never miss an important message or call.It also boasts of MaxxAudio from Waves, recipient of Technical GRAMMY Award, which ensures a solid and vigorous bass effect.
We have not used the Find 7 so far, but from its hardware specifications, the phone appears to be quite impressive and can be a fit case of direct competition with upcoming LG G3 which also has 5.5-inch Quad HD IPS (2560 x 1440, 538ppi) display, 3GB RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 (up to 2.5GHz Quad-Core) processor and runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS. The LG G3 is scheduled to be launched in India next month and is expected to be in the price range of Rs. 50K.
