Chinese handsets maker Oppo has also launched Oppo Find 7a smartphone on the sidelines of the launch of its flagship Find 7. The Find 7a is the lower version of Find 7 and is priced at Rs. 31,900. This smartphone will go on sale in India from tomorrow.
The Oppo Find 7a sports a 5.5-inch full-HD IPS display with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels and has a pixel density of 403ppi. The Find 7a is powered by a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. The Oppo Find 7a has 16GB inbuilt storage with microSD card support. Like Oppo Find 7, the Find 7a is also equipped with a 13-megapixel Sony Exmor IMX214 sensor with LED flash, and the company has not provided details of the front camera.
The Find 7a is fuelled by a 2800mAh battery with VOOC rapid charging technology. Like Find 7, this smartphone also runs ColorOS 1.2, which is based on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. Rest of the features of Find 7a are same as of Find 7
The Oppo 7a is targetted for those customers who can’t afford Find 7 priced at Rs. 37,990, but wants to have the flagship smartphone with little bit less hardware specifications.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Steven Shi Feng, General Manager, OPPO Mobiles India said, “We understand India is a price-sensitive market. However, we also believe that customers are always in pursuit of higher quality products with true innovation. Right now, our products cover several different price ranges and our pricing is reasonable considering all these. With our sales and service network expansion speeding up, we are expecting a fair growth and a bigger market share in the next 5 years.”
