Oppo, one of the leading Chines brand has unveiled today R7 Plus FC Barcelona Edition smartphone in Beijing to celebrate its three-year partnership with the world-renowned football club FC Barcelona. Priced at $549, OPPO will come out with 5,000 units of RC Plus FC Barcelona Edition.
The R7 Plus FC Barcelona Edition phones will be available for purchase online in stores such as OPPOStyle.com and in several OPPO overseas markets. OPPO will also hold a giveaway for the limited-edition phone this September, giving fans in over 20 of OPPO’s overseas markets the chance to win big. Meanwhile, an eBay charity auction for five special units featuring autographs from some of FCB’s top players including Lionel Messi, Andres Iniesta and Dani Alves will launch on September 12th, with all proceeds to be donated to the FC Barcelona Foundation, as mentioned by the company in its press statement.
As its official partner in the mobile phone device category for the next three years, OPPO will collaborate with FC Barcelona on a wide range of activities and products, including football events, fan activities, TV advertisements and special-edition accessories, as well as an LED display at the Spanish club’s home stadium of Camp Nou, adds the statement.
The gold-colored back of the R7 Plus FC Barcelona Edition features the FC Barcelona insignia.

OPPO R7 Plus sports a 6-inch full HD Super AMOLED display (1920×1080 pixels) with 367 ppi. This smartphone is fuelled by a massive 4100 mAh inbuilt lithium-polymer battery supported by OPPO’s VOOC rapid charging solution. With the VOOC Flash Charger, you can charge the phone quickly in five minutes for delivering two hours of talk time.
The OPPO R7 Plus runs on Color OS 2.1 based on Android Lollipop 5.1 OS. The Color OS 2.1 is easy to navigate and icons are neat and gives pleasing look. It also supports 4G LTE networks.
In India, OPPO R7 Plus is priced at INR 29, 990 and will be available from 25th September.
