Brand Oppo of China is on rolls as far as camera technology on their smartphones is concerned. After tasting huge success with their Oppo Reno and Oppo Reno 10X which were launched in India in the month of May this year, the company is now set to introduce Oppo Reno 2 Series in India. We have received media invite for an event taking place on 28th August. These phones will be the first to be armed with 48MP Quad camera setup and a 20X digital zoom along with a 5x Hybrid Zoom. It will also support Ultra Dark Mode for ultra-clear night shots and Ultra Steady Video bringing action camera level video as claimed by Oppo.
According to Oppo, the quad camera will provide a powerful toolkit for seeing things differently from all angles, offering a 20x Digital Zoom providing users with the freedom to choose the viewing angle they prefer for video creation, with all focal lengths achieving clear and less noisy results, with no dropped frames during shooting.
Oppo has not shared much details about the Reno 2 series at this time. But it is expected to be equipped with rising front camera like the earlier Reno smartphones. The Reno 2 will also be packed with AMOLED display and will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 855 processor.
We shall be covering the launch event and will share first hand videos on 28th August and more details as and when they emerge. Stay tuned!
