At an event in China, OPPO Reno4 Series of smartphones comprising of Oppo Reno4 and Oppo Reno4 Pro have been announced. Both the phones are powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 765G mobile processor with integrated 5G chip and supports SA/NSA dual-mode networking with Adreno 620 GPU.
Oppo Reno4 Pro sports a 6.55 inch (2400 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+3D 90Hz AMOLED 90Hz curved display with 180Hz sampling rate. It has protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It comes with 8GB/12GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB/256GB UFS 2.1 storage. This is Dual SIM supporting phone and is packed with 4000mAh battery with 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging which takes 36 minutes to fully charge the battery from zero to full.
For photography, this phone is armed with 48MP main camera with Sony IMX586 sensor, which supports an OIS optical anti-shake feature, 12MP 120° ultra-wide camera with Sony IMX708 sensor, 13MP Telephoto lens with 5x hybrid optical and 20x digital zoom and a Laser detection auto-focus lens. For selfie, this phone has 32MP front camera with f/2.4 aperture.
This phone also has dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos sound.
The Reno4 featurs a 6.43 inch (2400 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ 2.5D 90Hz AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It comes with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB (UFS 2.1) or 256GB (UFS 2.1) storage. It is packed with 4020mAh battery with 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging. For imaging, it is equipped with 48MP rear camera with Sony IMX586 sensor, 8MP 119° Ultra Wide Lens, 2MP mono lens. For selfie, it has 32MP primary camera and a seconday 2MP.
The rear cameras set-up of both the phones also come with various features such as “Moonlight Video Algorithm” for videos clarity in the night, Ultra Steady Video 3.0 and smart video editing app Soloop with 10 movie filters, so you can easily edit movie-quality video.
Both the phones have in-display fingerprint sensors and run on Android 10 with ColorOS 7.2 on top. Both the phones offer connectivity options of NFC, USB Type-C, Bluetooth 5.1, 5G SA/ NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz) and GPS/GLONASS/Beidou.
OPPO Reno4 Pro will be available in four colors including Galactic Blue, Sparkling Red, Space Black, Space White and limited edition Green Glitters upported by Pantone. The Reno4 comes in Diamond Blue, Black, and White colors.
The OPPO Reno4 series also come with Reno Glow craft with diamond-shaped crystal faces densely distributed on the rear cover of the device, which reflects a diamond-like shine. The Reno Glow rear cover IS completely fingerprint-free and wear-resistant compared to ordinary AG glass.
The 8GB+128GB versions of OPPO Reno4 Pro is priced RMB 3799 and the 12GB+256GB version is priced at RMB 4299. The OPPO Reno4 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB are priced RMB 2999 and RMB 3299 respectively and will be available on June 12 in China. The OPPO Reno4 Pro’s Green Glitter costs RMB 4299 and will be available on June 18th in China as limited edition.
These phones are expected to be launched in India soon with multiple localized features.
At the event, Oppo has also announced OPPO Enco W51 True Wireless Headphones and OPPO Band.
