Oppo Reno5 Pro 5G which was announced in China last month has been launched today in India. The Reno5 Pro 5G is the first smartphone in India to be powered by industry-first AI Highlight Video feature and MediaTek’s flagship level chipset- Dimensity 1000+
The Reno5 Pro 5G sports a 6.55 inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED screen with 90Hz refresh rate having 92.1% screen-to-body ratio. This phone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ processor with Mali-G77 MC9 GPU. It comes with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB storage. OPPO India will provide additional 120 GB of cloud service for 12 months which is applicable from the date of purchase. The free storage can be used together with paid storage and will last for 12 months. The cloud service will be activated after the consumer gets the free storage. This phone is packed with 4350mAh battery with 65W Super Flash Charge. This phone supports Dual Nano SIM and runs on Android 11 with ColorOS 11.1 on top.
On the camera front, this phone is packed with 64MP main rear camera with LED flash, f/1.7 aperture, 8MP 119° Ultra Wide Lens with f/2.2 aperture, 2MP Macro and 2MP mono portrait lens. This phone is equipped with the industry-first Full Dimension Fusion (FDF) Portrait Video System. Built on the Quality Enhancement Engine and the Portrait Perception Engine, the FDF System integrates powerful hardware with intelligent algorithms and processing technology. The Quality Enhancement Engine helps the users to take clear, high-quality videos in any light condition or moving scenario as claimed by Oppo. For selfie, this phone is armed with 32MP front camera with f/2.4 aperture.
For security, this phone has in-display fingerprint sensor and face unlock feature. This phone offers various connectivity options of Dual 4G VoLTE, 5G SA/ NSA, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, NFC and USB Type-C.
The Reno5 Pro 5G has an ultra-slim body equivalent to the thickness of a pen, with a 7.6mm thickness and a weight of only 173g. The OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G is available in two colors of Astral Blue and Starry Black. Astral Blue applies OPPO’s industry-first Reno Glow Process, the unique Anti-Glare glass process designed by OPPO, on the glass back cover to deliver a glittery visual effect with a matte finish. It shimmers like millions of diamonds embedded into a moonlit ocean while keeping the back-cover fingerprint-resistant.
The OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G is priced at INR 35,990 and will go on sale starting January 22nd, 2021 across all mainline retailers as well on Flipkart.
