OPPO headquartered in China is a leading smartphone brand with presence in North America, Europe and Asia. Of late, it has shown aggrerssion in India and has launched 20 handsets in Indian market till its debut around two years ago. Oppo smartphones are available in the price range of INR 6500 to INR 42999.
Under the Make in India vision of Prime Minister Narendera Modi, Oppo has announced its plans with electronics assembly manufacturer Foxconn to start an assembly line for its smartphones in the Sri City plant special economic zone in Tamil Nadu.
Oppo has not declared its market share in India but they are quite popular in other countries also. They are among the “top three” players in Indonesia, with more than 11 percent market share. Similarly they have 13 percent in Vietnam and almost 11 percent share in Malaysia.
They had a target to sell 15 million units in 2015. Whether they have exceeded the expectation or not only the time will tell.

OPPO R7 Plus
OPPO R7 Plus has a uni-body design and aircraft grade magnesium-aluminum alloy is used to build it. It goes through 48 polishing processes using the new anodizing technology. OPPO R7 Plus sports a 6-inch full HD Super AMOLED display (1920×1080 pixels) with 367 ppi. OPPO N3 features a 16 megapixel rotating camera with 206 degrees rotation and is capable to take 64 megapixel high resolution images using its free-stop and multi-angle shooting. Users can control the camera rotation in three ways – by O-click, gestures and touch access. The OPPO N3 is powered by the 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core CPU and is packed with 32G ROM and 2G RAM and a 5.5-inch Full HD screen having 1920×1080 resolution with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The phone includes OPPO’s VOOC mini rapid charging system.
