Oppo To Launch Shortly Smartphone with 10X Zoom Capable Camera in India

OPPO has announced that they will soon be launching a smartphone with world’s first 10x Hybrid Zoom capable camera in India. This is most probably Oppo Reno smartphone which is launching in India on 28th May for which we have already received media invite.

According to Oppo, 10x Hybrid Zoom is an industry-first technology with a triple-lens camera consisting of a telephoto lens, a 120-degree ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 48MP main camera. With all the three lenses, the 10X Hybrid Zoom technology can cover broad focal lengths of 16 mm-160 mm. ensuring high-quality long-distance shots. Oppo will also introduce Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) on both the main camera and the telephoto lens to achieve higher, anti-shake accuracy for capturing stable pictures.

Oppo is known for innovative camera technlogy on its smartphones and is the first company to introduce the selfie beautification mode to the rising camera seen in the Find X. Besides camera advancements, Oppo has also introduced path-breaking technologies like fast charging of SuperVOOC for very fast charging.

The Reno 10x sports a 6.6-inch (2340 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 19:5:9 and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. It is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 855 processor with Adreno 640 GPU. It also comes with 6GB / 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB (UFS 2.1) of internal storage and also 8GB LPDDR4X RAM variant with 256GB (UFS 2.1) of internal memory. This phone is packed with 4065mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging storage.

This phone is armed with tiple rear cameras comprising of 48MP with LED flash, 1/2.25 inch Sony IMX586 sensor, f/1.7 aperture, 13MP periscope telephoto lens with f/3.0 aperture, 8MP 120° Ultra Wide Lens with f/2.2 aperture with features of OIS, Laser AF, PDAF and 10x Hybrid Optical Zoom. For selfies, this phone also has pop-up 16MP front camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and 79.3° wide angle.
