Panasonic India has announced today the launch of mini version of its Eluga S selfie-focussed smartphone – ELUGA S Mini with 4.7 inch display. The mini version has identical features of ELUGA S, which was launched in India in the month of November last year, except three deviations. Compared to ELUGA S which sports a 5 inch HD display, the mini variant comes with 4.7 inch IPS HD Display with 720×1280 pixels resolution. The mini version of ELUGA S is packed with 1980mAh Lithium-Polymer compared to 2100mAh provided on ELUGA S.
The other difference pointed out by the company is that the mini version of ELUGA S ”design has been modified by introducing an arc-shaped back cover with innovative Frost-effect giving the smart gadget a stylish look.” This device has unibody design and will be available in Frost White & Shadow Grey colors at the best buy price of Rs. 8,990. Just to remind our readers, the ELUGA S was launched at best buy price of Rs. 11,190.
Rest of the features of ELUGA S Mini are same as of ELUGA S. The ELUGA S Mini is powered by the same 1.4GHz True Octa Core processor coupled with 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage, which can be expanded upto 32GB via microSD card. It is also equipped with an 8 MP Auto Focus rear camera with LED Flash and 5MP Front Camera with Blink Play feature for selfie enthusiasts.
For connectivity, the ELUGA S Mini offers options of Wi-Fi Hotspot & Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0 & Micro USB 2.0. This Dual-SIM smartphone runs on Android KitKat 4.4.2 OS and supports 21 Indian languages.
