Panasonic has expanded its portfolio of Eluga series and launched today Eluga Z1 & Z1 Pro smartphones. These phones have similar specifications except that Eluga Z1 comes with 3GB RAM + 32 GB ROM expandable up to 128 GB whereas the Z1 Pro has 4GB RAM + 64 GB ROM expandable up to 128 GB. Both the phones are powered by MediaTek Helio P22 processor and are packed with massive 4000mAh battery.
Featuring a 2.5 curved metal design, these smartphones have a 6.19” HD+ display (1500x720pixels) with notch and an aspect ratio of 18:9. For security, these phones have fingerprint sensor on the back and face unlock feature.
These phones are armed with 13+2 MP AI powered dual rear camera and 8MP AI powered front camera with flash. The camera comes with various modes such as bokeh, time lapse, slow motion, beauty mode, back light, live photos, group selfie etc. These smartphones also have feature of Facemoji.
Both the phones run on Android 8.1 Oreo and comee with a dual SIM configuration. They are equipped with the SwiftKey Keyboard which allows the users to type up to five Indian languages at the same time without changing settings and has 30 Indian languages with word corrections and predictions that adapt to individual users. These phones offer connectivity options of 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0 , Wi-Fi Hotspot, Wi-Fi Direct, Global Positioning System (A-GPS), FM with RDS.
The new devices also come with ARBO Hub, an AI powered hub which provides users access to multiple apps and services on a single platform and uses Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to make recommendations. This platform currently has partners like Accuweather, Uber, Ola, Newspoint, Mobikwik & Gamezop and more apps will be onboard in due course of time.
The Eluga Z1 and Z1 Pro will be available in Black, Gold and Blue color variants, at INR 14490 and INR 17490, respectively starting October 31st at all leading retail outlets across the country.
