Panasonic India launched today three new smartphones- T41, P41 and P61 running on the Android KitKat 4.4.2 OS. These three smartphones support Dual-SIM, and are driven by Quad core 1.3GHz processor. The company has not provided the details of the chipset. They are priced at Rs. 7,990, Rs. 11,990 and Rs. 14,990, respectively.
The Panasonic T41 sports a 4.5-inch IPS display with FWVGA (480×854 pixels) resolution. It comes with 512MB RAM and 4GB inbuilt storage, which can be expanded upto 32GB via microSD card. The P41 is equipped with a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera. It is packed with a 1650mAh battery, and measures 131×65.9×8.3mm. The weight of this phone is 120 grams. It will be available in Black, Pearl White and Bright Red colors.
Panasonic P41 comes with a 5-inch IPS display with qHD (540×960 pixels) resolution. It is packed with 1GB RAM & 8GB internal memory with the provision to extend it further upto 32GB via microSD card. It has a Bevelled curve design for tighter palm hold & an Anti-slip back cover for better grip. It also sports an 8MP 1080p camera with auto focus & LED flash, and 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Panasonic has introduced “Gesture Play+” an enhanced version of Gesture play in this smartphone with which the users can now access the apps directly from the Home screen as well.The phone is available in two colors: Pearl White and Black. It measures 142.4×71.9×8.2mm, and weighs 132.5 grams.
And lastly, the Panasonic P61 phablet, which is made of metal with Secura casing, has a 6-inch IPS display with HD (720×1280 pixels) resolution. It comes with 1GB of RAM, 16GB of inbuilt storage with the option to expand it upto 32GB via microSD card. It is packed with an 8-megapixel auto-focus Rear camera with LED flash, and also houses a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It is fuelled by a 2800mAh battery. It measures 162.7×83.8×8.2mm and weighs 173.8 grams. It is also available in Black and Pearl White colour variants. This phablet has Glide Play feature, in which the user can open daily use apps in a window-on-screen mode & make them glide along while moving from one screen to the other.
Al the above three smartphones has similar connectivity features such as Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, and A-GPS. These smartphones also come with FM Radio along with Light Sensor, Proximity sensor & Accelerometer sensors.
