POCO has expanded its 5G smartphone lineup with the launch of POCO M4 5G in India. This phone features a 6.58 inch FHD+ 90Hz Smart Display and 1080 x 2400 resolution coupled with a 240Hz touch sampling rate. It is also equipped with an Adaptive refresh rate that automatically adapts to 30Hz, 60Hz, and 90Hz based on the type of content usage on the smartphone further optimizing the battery life. The display is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
This phone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC built on a 7nm node architecture with a clock speed of 2.2GHz along with Arm Mali-G57 MC2 graphics card. It comes with 4GB LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB (UFS 2.2) storage and 6GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB (UFS 2.2) storage which can be further extended up to 1TB with microSD card. This Dual Nano SIM supporting phone with dedicated slot for microSD card runs on Android 12 with MIUI 13 on top. This phone is packed with 5000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging.
On the photography front, this phone features a dual camera setup with 50MP sensor as the primary camera supported with a 2MP depth sensor and a 8MP snapper in the front. It has Side-mounted fingerprint sensor and offers various connectivity options of 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C, 5G (7 bands), Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1 and GPS/GLONASS/Beidou.
POCO M4 5G will be available in Cool Blue, Power Black, and POCO Yellow colors. It will be available in two storage variants-4GB+64GB at INR 12,999 and 6GB+128GB at INR 14,999, respectively starting 5th May at 12 Noon via Flipkart. SBI card users can also avail a flat INR 2,000 instant discount.
