Following the announcement by Google on lowering the minimum purchase price for apps and games sold on Google Play in India, developers from India and around the world have finally decided to reprice their apps for Indian users. Users in India can now get popular apps like Facetune, or games like Fruit Ninja, for as little as Rs.10, as per statement of Google India.
Users across the country can also find special In-App-Products at Rs.10 in games like Stick Cricket and Real Cricket. Talking Tom for example will now allow you to buy goodies for as low as Rs.20, adds the statement of Google.
“We hope this lower price point makes it easier for people in India to get access to the apps and games they love at a great price” said Alistair Pott, Product Manager, Google Play in a blogpost.
Play store users can keep an eye out for apps and games at this new price point by visiting featured games and apps collections on Google Play store.
