Realme has today unveiled its new 5G smartphone – the realme 9i 5G in India. It is the first smartphone in the industry to feature a vintage CD design, inspired by the MET Gala 2022 theme. This is a slim 5G smartphone with 8.1mm ultra slim body and 187g ultra lightweight. This phone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G processor coupled with 4GB GB LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB storage or 6GB GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB storage, expandable up to 2TB with microSD card. The realme 9i 5G comes with Dynamic RAM Expansion technology, which adds an additional 3 gigabytes of virtual RAM to increase app performance. This phone supports 5G Dual SIM Dual Standby which keeps up with 5G SIM cards.
The realme 9i 5G features a 6.6 inch (2400 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ dispalyn with 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. This phone runs on Android 12 with realme UI 3.0 on top and is packed with 5000mAh battery with 18W Dart Fast Charger.
For photography, this phone is equipped with 50MP rear primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, LED flash supported by 2MP B&W and 2MP 4cm macro sensor. For selfies, this phone comes with 8MP front shooter with f.2.0 aperture. This phone has side-mounted fingerprint sensor. This phone offers connecitivity options of USB Type-C, Dual 4G VoLTE, 5G (7 Bands), Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1 and GPS/GLONASS/Beidou.
The realme 9i 5G comes in two colors of Metallica Gold and Rocking Black. Realme 9i 5G is priced at INR 14,999 for 4GB+64GB and INR 16,999 for 6GB+128GB variants and will go on sale on August 24, 12 noon onwards on realme.com, Flipkart and mainline channels.
