Xiaomi India has launched today two budget smartphones in its Redmi Series – Redmi 10A & Redmi 10 Power.
Redmi 10A comes with 6.53 inch (1600 x 720 pixels) HD+ IPS LCD Dot Drop screen with an aspect ratio of 20:9. It is powered by an Octa Core MediaTek Helio G25 processor with clock speed of 2GHz and IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. This phone comes with 3GB LPDDR4x RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB storage which can be further extended up to 512GB with microSD card. This phone supports Dual Nano SIM cards and has dedicated slot for microSD card and is packed with 5000mAh battery.
For imaging, this phone is equipped with 13MP primary camera with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture and 5MP front shooter for selfies and face unlock. For security, this phone has fingerprint sensor on the rear and is splash proof with P2i coating. This phone runs on Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 on top and offers connectivity options of micro USB, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5 and GPS + GLONASS.
On the other hand, the Redmi 10 Power sports a 6.71 inch (1600 x 720 pixels) HD+ display with 20.6:9 aspect ratio having protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. This phone is powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 680 processor with Adreno 610 GPU and is coupled with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM plus 128GB UFS 2.2 internal storage which can be extended up to 1TB with microSD card. This phone is packed with 6000mAh battery with 18W fast charging and supports Dual Nano SIMs and has dedicated slot for microSD card.
For photography, this phone is armed with 50MP rear primary camera with f/1.8 aperture which is flanked by 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, it ha 5MP front camera. For security, this phone also has fingerprint sensor on the back. This phone runs on Android 11 with custom skin of MIUI 13. This phone offers connectivity options of USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS + GLONASS, Dual 4G VoLTE and Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz).
Pricing and Availabilty
Redmi 10A is priced at Rs. 8,499 for the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant and Rs. 9499 for the 4GB + 64GB version. It comes in Charcoal Black, Sea Blue, and Slate Grey colors and will be sold through Amazon.in, mi.com, Mi Home stores and offline stores starting from 26th April.
The Redmi 10 Power is priced at Rs. 14,999 and comes in Power Black and Sport Orange colours. Xiaomi has not revealed when this smartphones will go on sale but it will be available via same channels as of Redmi 10A.
