Xiaomi India has launched today two affordable smartphones – Redmi 13C & Redmi 13C 5G. Both the smartphones feature 6.74 inch (1600 x 720 pixels) HD+ Display with 20:9 aspect ratio display, 90Hz refresh rate and up to 600 nits of brightness. The display has Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
Redmi 13C 4G Smartphone is driven by Octa Core MediaTek Helio G85 12nm processor whereas the Redmi 13C 5G is powered by Octa Core MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ 6nm processor. Redmi 13C comes with 4GB / 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB internal storage, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 256GB internal storage, which can be extended up to 1TB with microSD card. Redmi 13C 5G comes with 4GB / 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB UFS 2.2 internal storage and 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 256GB UFS 2.2 internal storage for extending up to 1TB with microSD card. Both the phones are packed with 5000mAh battery with 18W charging.
Both the phones run on Android 13 with MIUI 14 on top and have side-mounted fingerprint sensor. For imaging, Redmi 13C is equipped with 50MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture supported by 2MP macro camera and Auxiliary lens. For selfies, this phone has 8MP front camera. Redmi 13C 5G comes with 50MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and 5MP front camera for selfies.
For connectivity, 13c 5G supports various 5G bands, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, BT 5.1 and USB Type-C. The 13C supports only Dual 4G VoLTE and others as mentioned above.
The Redmi 13C Series come with two design aesthetics with the Dynamic Star Trail Design on the 5G variant; and the Star Shine Design for the 4G variant. Built on a 6-layer architecture, the bottom layer showcases 550,000 triangular lattices emitting diamond-like flashes, and the upper layer consists of almost 2,000 lines flashing from four angles, creating a dynamic, ever-changing design. the Redmi 13C 5G is available in three color options —Startrail Silver, Startrail Green, and Starlight Black. Featuring the Star Shine Design, the Redmi 13C base variant comes in Starshine Green and Stardust Black color.
