LG Electronics India has reaffirmed its unwavering support for the Indian Armed Forces by contributing INR 1 Crore to the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund (AFFDF) ahead of the Armed Forces Flag Day in India which is observed on December 7th since 1949. The Armed Forces Flag Day aims to honor the martyrs and the brave servicemen who have gallantly defended and continue to protect our borders, preserving the honor of our nation.
Under its Kar Salaam initiative, LG Electronics extends a heartfelt salute to the dedication and sacrifices of the Indian soldiers. This contribution, aimed at fostering the well-being of the Armed Forces, demonstrates LG’s profound respect for their exemplary service to the nation. Launched in 2017, the ‘Kar Salaam’ initiative embodies LG’s commitment to acknowledging and honouring the spirit of generosity exhibited by the soldiers of India.
Commenting on this significant contribution, Mr. Hong Ju Jeon, MD- LG India expressed, “As a company deeply rooted in India for the past 26 years, LG recognizes the immense contribution of our Armed Forces. The Kar Salaam initiative is our humble way of expressing gratitude to the brave hearts who have selflessly dedicated themselves to the nation.
