Xiaomi of China has reduced the price of its Redmi Note Prime which was launched in India in December last year at Rs. 8,499. It is now available for Rs 7,999 exclusively on Amazon.in and Mi.com. The Redmi Note Prime is Xiaomi’s second smartphone to be ‘Made In India.’
Redmi Note Prime is an enhanced version of Redmi Note 4G with dual SIM slots, 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM (expandable to 32GB via microSD card) and a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor. Redmi Note Prime features a 5.5 inch HD IPS display with 720×1280 pixels resolution. It is packed with a 3100mAh battery.
This phone is equipped with 13MP rear camera with f/2.4 aperture and 5MP front facing camera with f/2.2 aperture.
The Redmi Note Prime runs on Android 4.4 KitKat-based MIUI 7. It supports Dual-SIM and is 4G enabled smartphone. It also offers other connectivity options of 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with hotspot, Bluetooth v4.0, GPRS/ EDGE,GPS/ A-GPS etc.
