Boult is known for economical but powerful audio products and smartwatches. We have seen and reviewed lot of Boult earbuds which are good value for money. Boult has launched today three soundbars in the Indian market – Bassbox X60, Bassbox X250, and Bassbox X500. Bassbox X60 is entry level soundbar and Boult has sent us this product for review. We have used this soundbar for few hours and find it quite powerful for the listening experience.
On the design front, Bassbox X60 is good looking soundbar and is made of refined material. It has radial brushed finish and perforated mesh grille. Similarly, subwoofer also looks refined piece and is made of good quality plastic material.
Boult Bassbox X60 Soundbar has two major parts – soundbar and subwoofer. This soundbar has 60-watt rated output which is good enough for your listening when you attach this to your TV or any other device. This soundbar comes with Integrated Digital Signal Processor for true audio reproduction and has feature of real-time upscaling of audio. To enhance audio output , it has feature of 2.1 Channel Surround Sound and with deep-bass subwoofer plus full-range BoomX drivers, it almost delivers theatre-like sound. It is packed with two full-range BoomX drivers for an immerservice audio output.
The soundbar has five input modes – Bluetooth V5.4, AUX, USB, Optical and HDMI (ARC). It also has three separate EQ presets – News, Music and Movie Modes and you can preset these modes on the remote also as per your choice. The Remote of this device is very sleek and small but responsive. You can use it for various functions such as Power on/off, switching of modes, volume up and down, pairing of Bluetooth devices, to mute/unmute the soundbar, press to play and pause music etc. All the tasks mentioned above work without any lag.
The Bassbox X60 is compatible with Bluetooth and HDMI devices such as smartphones, smart TVs, computers. Projectors and Game Consoles. For testing purpose, I have synced Bassbox X60 with my iPhone 14 Pro Max and TCL Smart TV. I was amazed with its audio output and my lobby of 20×20 feet reverbated with immersive audio and this soundbar attached with subwoofer gave a true feeling of a small theatre. I ran audio at full speed when it was connected to above-named devices and the output was quite loud and surprisingly there was no jarring sound when I ran few Hindi songs via YouTube.
