Research In Motion (RIM), Canadian based company, has launched today 3 new BlackBerry smart-phones in India – BlackBerry Bold 9790, BlackBerry Curve 9380 and BlackBerry Curve 9350. All these smart-phones will run on BlackBerry 7.0 operating software.
BlackBerry Bold 9790 smartphone has following features:
- 2.44″ inch touchscreen display with 360 x 480 resolution
- 1 GHz CPU
- 8 GB of on-board memory and a microSD slot that offers up to 32 GB of additional space.
It is available in India at a cost of Rs. 27,490 /-
BlackBerry Curve 9350 is the first CDMA based BlackBerry 7 smartphone launched in India and has following features:
- 5 megapixel camera with flash
- Video recording
- microSD/SDHC slot that supports up to 32 GB memory cards for additional media storage.
- GPS and Wi-Fi support are included
This mobile device is priced at Rs. 20,990 /- for Indian users.
BlackBerry Curve 9380 is the first-ever BlackBerry Curve smartphone with an all-touch display. It has following features :
- 3.2″ inch all-touch display
- 5 megapixel camera with flash
- 800 MHz processor
- 1 GB of internal storage
- Pre-installed social networking applications such as BBM (BlackBerry Messenger), Facebook, Twitter, and Social Feeds
It is available in India at a cost of Rs. 20,990 /-
All three devices will come preloaded with BlackBerry Messenger, Documents To Go Premium, BlackBerry Protect for backup and BlackBerry Balance. These three mobile phones are expected to be available throughout India from 1st December, 2011 on-wards.
