Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 Launched For Rs. 20,900

Samsung India has quietly launched its Galaxy Mega 2 phablet in India. The  Galaxy Mega 2 smartphone has been listed on its e-store for Rs. 20,990, and the company has mentioned that it is available now for purchase. This phablet is the successor to the Galaxy Mega 5.8 and Galaxy Mega 6.3 phablets. The Galaxy Mega 2 is available in black color only.

The Galaxy Mega 2 sports a 6 inch TFT HD (720×1280 pixels) display, and is driven by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, paired with 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of ROM, which can be extended upto 64GB via microSD card. This phablet runs on Android 4.4 KitKat.

The Galaxy Mega 2 is equipped with an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and also houses a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. This smartphone is fuelled by a 2800mAh battery. It has dimensions of 163.6 x 84.9 x 8.6mm, and its weight is 194 grams.

For connectivity, the Galaxy Mega 2 offers options of 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, GPS, Glonass, NFC, and Bluetooth 4.0. This phablet also comes with Samsung’s proprietary apps such as Group Play, Story Album, S Health 3.0, S Voice, S Browser, Screen Mirroring, Smart Switch, Ultra Power Saving Mode, and Quick Connect.
