Samsung India has launched today its mid-range smartphone, Galaxy On8, with decent features. Priced at Rs. 15,900, the Galaxy On8 will be sold online through Flipkart as part of their Big Billion Day sales celebrations from 2nd October 2016 23:59 hours.This phone will be available in Gold, Black and White colours.
The 4G and VOLTE-enabled Galaxy On8 has diamond cut metal frame and the back panel has a brushed metal finish to enhance the look of this device. It is a slim device with thickness of 7.8mm.
On the hardware front, this phone features a 5.5” sAMOLED display. It is powered by a 1.6 Ghz Octa Core Processor with a 3GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage expandable upto 128GB. It is packed with 3300 mAH battery. It has dual SIM functionality with a separate slot for memory card. This phone runs on Android Marshmallow OS.
The Galaxy On8 comes with a 13 mega-pixel rear camera with AF and LED flash. It also houses a 5 mega-pixel front camera with LED flash. Both the cameras have f1.9 aperture for delivering brighter images in low light conditions.The front camera also incorporates features such as Palm Gesture selfie, Wide angle selfie and Beautifying effects.
This phone also incorporates accelerometer, Light Sensor and Proximity Sensor. It also comes with ultra data saving mode and pre-loaded S bike app. It has dimensions of 151.7 x 76.0 x 7.8mm and its weight is 169 grams.
