Samsung India has strengthened its J Series portfolio and launched two affordable smrtphones with 4G supports. These two phones are Galaxy J1 4G & Galaxy J2 Ace. The Galaxy J1 is entry-level 4G phone and is priced Rs. 6,890. It is available in gold, black, and white colors. The Galaxy J2 Ace is priced Rs. 8,490 and is available in gold, black and silver colors.
The Galaxy J1 4G features a 4.5 inch WVGA Super AMOLED display and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. It is powered by 1.3 GHz Quad Core processor combined with 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage which can be furhter extended upto 128GB via microSD card. This phone gets its juice from 2050 mAh battery.
This phone is equipped with 5MP rear camere with f/2.2 lens and Flash. It also houses 2MP front camera with f/2.2 lens.
On the other hand, the Galaxy J2 Ace comes with 5 inch qHD TFT display and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. It is packed with 1.4 GHz Quad Core processor with 1.5GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage with micro SD slot for extending the storage up to 256 GB via microSD card. It is packed with 2600 mAh battery.
This phone is mounted with 8MP primary camera with f/2.2 lens and Flash. It also houses 5 MP front shooter with f/2.2 lens and front flash.
Both the above phones come with Accelerometer and Proximity sensors. These phones provide support for 4G LTE Cat 4 + VoLTE HD ‘voice’ calling. These phones also offer connectivity options of Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, USB 2.0, GPS and GLONASS.
Both the above two phones incorporate Ultra Data Saving mode (UDS), S bike mode and S Power Planning which offer more affordable browsing, uninterrupted riding for bikers, and smart power planning respectively. They also features ‘S Secure’ that ensures the safest browsing experience and provides privacy features to keep personal information protected.
