Samsung has launched today two new dual-SIM smartphones in India – Galaxy S Duos and Galaxy Y Duos Lite. Galaxy S Duos is mid-level smartphone and priced at Rs. 17,900 whereas Galaxy Y Duos is entry-level device and priced at Rs. 6,990.

Since Galaxy S Duos Lite is an entry-level device therefore the company is offering free ‘Smart Deal’ of 1 GB 3G data or Unlimited 2G data free per month for six months, in partnership with Reliance Communications, to make its purchase more attractive for first time buyers.
Both the smartphones are powered by Smart dual-SIM feature, which allows users to simultaneously get calls on both SIM cards, so they will never miss a call even if they are already talking on one SIM or surfing the web using the other.

Samsung currently offers 5 dual-SIM smartphones and a total of 13 smartphone models in the country. Its entry-level smartphone Galaxy Y Duos will give tough competition to recently launched Micromax and Karbonn handsets almost in the same price range. Samsung has variety of models in its stables from entry level to high end segment.
