Samsung Electronics launched today its lowest priced smartphone – Galaxy Star – to give tough competition to Asha range of Nokia phones and to economically priced smartphones of domestic handsets makers – Micromax and Karbonn etc. Samsung wants to maintain its dominant position in India also and the GALAXY Star is the entry level smartphone, which will provides users with an enhanced smartphone experience at a very affordable price point. The Galaxy Star has an MRP of Rs. 5,240.

This smartphone sports 3” capacitive touch screen, and comes loaded with a 2MP camera and the latest Bluetooth 4.0 technology for on-the-go Internet and effortless sharing. Supported with a large 512 MB RAM & 4GB internal memory Samsung Galaxy Star can be expandable upto 32GB for a seamless smartphone usage. This phone is packed with a powerful 1200mAh battery.
