At an event in New Delhi, Samsung has launched today their latest Galaxy S10 series of smartphones comprising of Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10 & Galaxy S10+. These phones have USPs of Infinity-O Display, Pro-Grade camera, Wireless PowerShare and in-display Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanner (only on Galaxy S10+/S10). All the three phones are powered by Octa-Core Samsung Exynos 9 Series 9820 8nm processor with Mali-G76 MP12 GPU.
The Galaxy S10e has a 5.8-inch Full HD+ (2280 × 1080 pixels) Dynamic AMOLED display with 438ppi, HDR10+, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection wheres the Galaxy S10 sports a 6.1-inch and S10+ has Quad HD+ (3040 × 1440 pixels) Curved Dynamic AMOLED displays with HDR10+ and protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. The S10e comes with 6GB / 8GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB/256GB storage which can be further extended upto 512GB with microSD card. The S10 comes with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB/512GB storage extendable up to 512GB with microSD and finally S10+ comes with 8GB/12GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB/512GB/1TB storage expandable further up to 512GB with microSD card. The S10e, S10 and S10+ are packed with 3400mah, 4100mAh and 4300mAh batteries respectively with fast charging for both wired and wireless charging.
On the photography front, the S10 and and S10+ feature a triple camera set-up. The main camera module has a 12 MP sensor and a dual-aperture lens that intelligently varies between an f/1.5 and f/2.4 aperture. The secondary camera is a 12 MP 2x telephoto lens, with an f/2.4 lens. The devices come with an ultra-wide-angle 16 MP lens and a 123-degree Field of View (FoV). For selfies S10e and S10 are equipped with single 10MP Dual Pixel AF camera with f/1.9 aperture and 80 degree field of view wheres the S10+ is equipped with 10MP Dual Pixel front camera with 80° wide-angle lens, f/1.9 aperture. It also has secondary 8MP camera for depth with f/2.2 aperture and 90° FoV. The S10e is armed with Dual rear camera setup of 12MP with 77-degree wide-angle lens, variable aperture of f/1.5 to f/2.4, and OIS. The secondary camera is of 16MP with fixed focus, 123-degree ultra-wide lens and f/2.2 aperture. For videos, Galaxy S10 camera offers Super Steady recording with digital stabilization technology. S10’s front camera supports UHD video so you can capture high-quality content and record 4K UHD Selfie videos and in an industry first and with the rear camera, you can record video in HDR10+.
All the three phones are water and dust resistant (IP68) and are packed with stereo speakers by AKG and Surround sound with Dolby Atmos technology.
For security, the S10 and S10+ come with Ultrasonic Fingerprint Sensor whereas the S10e has side-mounted Fingerprint Sensor. All the three phones have feature of face unlock. These phones also have Accelerometer, Barometer, Gyro Sensor, Geomagnetic Sensor, Hall Sensor, Heart Rate Sensor, Proximity Senso and RGB Light Sensor. These phones run on Android 9.0 (Pie) and offers connectivity options of Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth v 5.0, USB Type-C, NFC, GPS with GLONASS, USB 3.1.
Pricing:
The Galaxy S10e comes with only 128GB storage variant in Prism Black, Prism White colours and is priced Rs. 55,900. Galaxy S10+ will be available in 1TB, 512GB and 128GB storage variants at a price of INR 1,17,900, INR 91,900 and INR 73,900 respectively. The 1TB and 512GB variants will be available in luxurious Ceramic White and Ceramic Black colours respectively, while the 128GB variant will come in premium Prism Black, Prism White and Prism Blue colours.
Galaxy S10’s 512GB variant, priced at INR 84,900, will be available in Prism White colour, whereas the 128GB variant, at INR 66,900 will be available in Prism Black, Prism White and Prism Blue colours. Further, Galaxy S10e comes with only 128GB storage variant in Prism Black and Prism White colours.
These phones will be available in India starting March 8.
As a part of the launch offer, Galaxy Buds will be offered to consumers at INR 4,999 along with HDFC cashback offer of up to INR 6,000 or upgrade offer of up to INR 15,000 on Galaxy S10.

Airtel customers upgrading to Samsung Galaxy S10 line will get a cashback of up to INR 3,600 (across 24 recharges or 24 months, whichever is earlier) on recharge pack of INR 349 using the My Airtel App. Samsung Galaxy S10 line is also available on the Airtel Online Store with a down payment starting INR 7,499 and EMI of INR 2,599, which comes built-in with a post-paid plan.
Samsung Galaxy S10 users on the Jio network will get an additional one-year of unlimited services free-of-cost. Users will get double data benefits when recharging with the Jio INR 4,999 annual plan. That is, get 350 + 350 GB high speed data without any daily capping plus another year of unlimited voice and 700 GB data. This amounts to a saving of INR 14,997.
Vodafone users will get a one-year Netflix subscription worth INR 6,000 to existing and new users of Red Postpaid plans starting INR 499, on purchase of Galaxy S10 line of smartphones through its website.
