After its hugely successful Galaxy Tab 2 series of tablets, Samsung has increased its portfolio of Galaxy range of tablets by launching today in India three new Galaxy Tab 3 series of tablets – Galaxy Tab 3 311(3G),Tab 3 310(WiFi) with 8 inch screen, and Galaxy Tab 3 with 7 inch screen.
The Galaxy Tab 3 311 & 310
The Galaxy Tab 3 having 8 inches screen is available in two variants – The Galaxy Tab 3 311 has 3G ( voice and data) capability while the Galaxy Tab 3 310 comes with WiFi version only.
Both the 8-inch Galaxy Tablets are just 7.4 mm thick and they are so sleek that one can carry them in one hand. Both are powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor and 1.5GB of RAM. These tablets are equipped with a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 1.9MP front facing camera. The devices have a 8-inch WXGA display(189ppi) with a resolution of 1280X800 pixels. These tablets come with 16 GB internal memory, which can be expanded up to 64GB via a microSD card. The tablets are packed with a 4,450mAh battery. The devices run on latest Android Jelly Bean 4.2.
The outstanding feature of these tablets are its slim bezel design, which maximizes the screen use. Samsung’s “Sound Alive” for audio and Dolby Digital Sound for Video Play maximize every sound and allow users to enjoy clearer dialogue, consistent volume levels and superior audio to further enhance the overall multimedia experience.
The tablets come pre-loaded with Samsung applications and services such as Samsung Hub, ChatOn, S Translator, S Travel, Pop up Video and WatchON. Also, with the preloaded TripAdvisor App, users can get information and make reservation of the places classified in various categories such as places, hotels, food and forum, and more. In addition, intuitive features such as Story Album and Group Play also allow users more ways to instantly share and enjoy music, photos, documents, and games with those around them.
The Galaxy Tab 3 211
This 7 inch tablet is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor alongside 1GB of RAM. The 7-inch display(168ppi) has a 1024×600 resolution. The tablet has 8GB intrenal storage, which can be expandable upto 32GB via microSD card. Connectivity options on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB and A-GPS/ GLONASS. The tablet runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and is equipped with 3MP rear camera and 1.3 MP front camera. The tablet is packed with 4000mAh battery.
All the three Galaxy Tab 3 variants have voice calling and receiving capabilities.
All the three variants of the Galaxy Tab 3 come pre loaded with a bouquet of Services like ‘My Education’ , ‘My Offers’, ‘My Games’ , ‘My Music’ and ‘ My Movies’. While ‘My Education’ gives consumers access to 2000 e-books , 1000 Learning Videos, educational content for School Children and preparatory material for entrance exams to professional courses , ‘My Offers’ make available best local offers from 350+ brands and 25000+ merchants in India . 25 Edutainment Games and 20 HD Games are available for the users to download on the Tab 3 Series
‘My Music’ application gives users access to 500,000 Bollywood and International Songs while ‘My Movies’ allows Tab 3 users to stream trailers , videos and movies from over 2000+ selected catalogues.
