Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd has unveiled new consumer technology products and services at its third Southwest Asia Forum 2013 in Hyderabad. In 2012, Samsung Electronics achieved record sales of approximately $200 billion. In Southwest Asia, the Company tripled its growth rate over the past three years and achieved more than 35% sales growth in 2012. It also retained its number one position in categories like Flat Panel TVs, Smartphones, Tablets and Colour Monitors.

Samsung F8000 LED TV is the first Samsung television to feature a quad-core processor. Available in sizes up to 65-inches, the F8000 features an ultra-thin profile, a quarter-inch thick bezel and a wave inspired Arc stand that makes the TV look as if it is simply floating in the air.
Samsung also introduced its first 85-inch Ultra High Definition TV (UHD TV), the 85S9, which includes Samsung’s “One Connect” feature and which eliminates cable clutter by requiring only one cable to connect to the TV and creates a perfect “Clean Back” look.The 85S9 also includes Samsung’s proprietary up-scaling engine which can up-convert HD or Full-HD to UHD-level picture quality by restoring detail information to create greater precision for real-life picture quality.
The HT-F9750W is Samsung’s flagship 7.1 channel home theater system and the perfect companion to the 2013 Smart TVs. The system features a 1,330-watt sound system for unprecedented sound quality and exceptional viewing experience, and it is powered by Samsung’s Gallium Nitride amplifier and vacuum tube amplifier to create a pure, natural sound.
Samsung’s 2013 Smart TVs provide a new world of possibilities in search, navigation and content discovery. Samsung has completely redesigned its new Smart Hub, which intelligently organizes a viewer’s content into clear, dynamic menu panels to provide a simple, more intuitive way to discover and experience television. The three panels include: Apps; Photos, Videos & Music; and Social. It is further augmented with Samsung’senhanced motion control capabilities, which make navigating Smart Hub’s three panels convenient and fun with a simple flip motion.
Finally, developed for the Southwest Asian market, Samsung has created the 46” 5100 TV, which comes equipped with a Digital Hub that allows consumers to share contents among friends and family on the TV. With the Easy Share feature, users can seamlessly share digital contents between devices via two USB ports eliminating the need for a PC and also keep their data on a portable hard drive that fits in an integrated hard disk holder behind the television.
The new Samsung refrigerator (RT42) offers maximum organization and use of space, thanks to unique features, such as the Easy Slide shelf for effortless storing and removal of food, and a detachable Multi Storage Basket for items like cosmetics, medicines or special sauces. The new Samsung refrigeratorfeatures MoistFresh Zone, which controls air circulation to maintain optimal humidity, creating an ideal environment to store and keep vegetables and fruit fresh for a long time. Additionally, the refrigerator can cool down to the target temperatures in just a short amount of time, all by pushing the “Power Cool” button on the refrigerator display. This refrigerator promises a 10-year warranty for its Digital Inverter Compressor.
The new Samsung Wobble washing machine (WA16) features Samsung’s Wobble Technology, which prevents fabric damage caused by friction without compromising washing performance.
Samsung’s Smart Oven (MC32F606) features smart sensor technology, and is built to help consumers save storage space in the kitchen, as well as save time and effort when preparing healthy, tasty meals.
The NX300 is the newest addition to the Samsung NX-range smart camera, which blends exceptional image quality and capture capabilities with increased speed and shot control. Samsung also announced the launch of a new line of connected compact cameras: the WB250F/WB200F, the WB800F, WB30F, DV150F and ST150F. As new additions to the WB series of long-zoom models, DV series of Dual View cameras and ST series of Style Feature cameras, the new devices combine high optical performance and classic style with the enhanced connectivity of SMART CAMERA.
Samsung also showcased Galaxy Note 510 tablet, which was unveiled at the recently concluded MWC as Galaxy Note 8.0.Featuring an 8-inch touchscreen, quad core processor, full phone functionality and the popular S-Pen technology from the Note series of the devices, the Note 510 comes with 16 gigabytes of internal storage, and an external micro SD slot.
Samsung’s new PC line-up consists of two new devices that combine powerful performance with design excellence. The powerful new Series 7 Chronos and the portable Series 7 Ultra Notebook are equipped to handle both work and entertainment applications.
Finally, Samsung is bringing new innovations to small and med-sized businesses (SMB) and small office and home office (SOHO) with its Xpress M2875 Series and ProXpress M4070 Series printers and multifunctions.
