Snapdeal Partners With Tata Value Homes To Sell Their Affordable Apartments

Snapdeal.com, one of India’s largest online marketplace, has forayed into the real estate category. Snapdeal has partnered with Tata Value Homes, which is 100% subsidiary of Tata Housing Development Company Limited, to sell their apartmnets of different projects spread in five major cities namely – Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai and Ahmedabad. Snapdeal is the first online marketplace in India and probably in the world that would be selling the real estate.


Under this exclusive partnership, Snapdeal.com and Tata Value Homes will together offer online booking of all Tata Value Homes projects on the website. Tata Value Homes claim to have sold 600 apartmetns in one year via online through their own website. With this partnership with Snapdeal, Tata Value Homes will have the opportunity to reach out to more dedicated customers of Snapdeal.

Now, the 25 million+ Snapdeal members will be able to book a home online by paying just Rs 30,000. For the launch period, Tata Value Homes will also offer an exclusive benefit for a limited period to customers who book through Snapdeal. Under this, each customer will get Rs 10,000 per month ( Rs. 6,000 for Ahmedabad property) for a year on booking any of the Tata Value Homes property on Snapdeal.com. The rental will start flowing after payment of full value of the apartment and possession of the same. Bookings will open on 28th August at 10 am on Snapdeal.com.

Tata Value Homes has introduced two pan-India brands – Shubh Griha (Value Homes) and New Haven (Affordable Homes). Shubh Griha is currently being developed in Boisar, Vasind near Mumbai and Ahmedabad while New Haven is currently being developed at Boisar, Ahmedabad and Bengaluru. The average price of Tata Value Home is Rs. 31 lakhs and goes upto 60 to 70 lakhs depending upon the configuration of the apartments of different projects. Some apartment are also available at the strating price of Rs. 18 lakhs in Ahmedabad project. These apartments are affordable in true sense of the word and are targetted for middle-class segment.
