Sony India has announced the launch of India’s first DTH Theatre sound sytem. According to Sony India, DTH Theatre is the world’s first home theatre system that has been specifically designed to meet the needs of DTH viewers for superb sound quality. The DTH Theatre is compatible with leading DTH providers like Tata Sky, Airtel Digital TV, Sun Direct, Dish TV and Big TV. The DTH Theatre has a compact body which is 40 percent smaller than a conventional home theatre body.
The DTH Theatre can give output of 1000W and with its 5.1 channel, it is capable of delivering powerful and immersive sound creating the best sound for a theatre like experience at home, as claimed by the company. Since it has direct DTH connectivity as well as the plug and play feature, the users can enjoy a crisp immersive sound, free from the humming noise of DVD players.
The two way HDMI connected DTH Theatre ensures an easy connection between the television and DTH via the DTH Theatre. You are required to connect DTH with IV300 and then LCD/LED with IV300, thus ensuring Picture in TV & Sound through IV300 DTH . The available Inputs are- HDMI Input 2, Optical Input 1, Audio Video In 1. Moreover, it supports multiple formats like MKV, MP4, AVC, WMV, VOB, Xvid HD and AVCHD through its USB port for plug and play devices.
The DTH Theatre also features Sony’s one-touch functions with NFC technology that lets you easily view all the content on your phone or other Bluetooth enabled devices with your television.
This product(HT – IV300) will be available across all Sony Centers and major electronic stores across India from the first week of April at MRP of Rs. 19,990.
