Sony India today launched BRAVIA XR A80J OLED series of TV powered by the Cognitive Processor XR that thinks like a human brain. The BRAVIA XR A80J OLED series is currently available in 65 inch screen size and two additional screen sizes of 77 and 55 inch will be launched soon. The Cognitive Processor XR which uses a completely new processing method that goes beyond conventional AI, is designed to think like a human brain providing a revolutionary experience that completely immerses viewer in their favorite content. Cognitive Processor XR, powered by cognitive intelligence, knows where that focal point is by dividing the screen into numerous zones and detecting where the “focal point” is in the picture. While conventional Artificial Intelligence (AI) can only detect and analyze picture elements like colour, contrast and detail individually, the new processor can cross-analyze an array of elements at once, just as our brains do. The cognitive processor XR cross analyses data, enhancing pictures in the same way that the human eye focuses for more realistic colour and depth. With XR OLED Contrast, brightness is adjusted for higher peaks in glare and deeper blacks in shadow – no more details overwhelmed by shadow or lost in blown-out highlights.
This series of TV come with XR TRILUMINOS Pro display which reproduces 3D colour depth with human intelligence for naturally beautiful colours. The XR Motion Clarity technology incorporated in this series controls moving images precisely to minimize blur during high speed scenes. For an immersive sound experience, this TV employs technologies such as XR sound positioning with Acoustic Surface Audio and XR Surround with 3D surround upscaling. You can further create your own cinema at home with exceptional visual and audio experience with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. One can experience supreme picture and sound in every environment with Ambient optimization, Light sensor and Acoustic auto calibration technology.
BRAVIA XR A80J offers ultra-smooth gaming with dedicated game mode, HDMI 2.1 compatibility, including 4K 120fps, VRR and ALLM. The new lineup of BRAVIA A80J OLED TVs seamlessly integrates Google TV, allowing you to browse up to 700,000+ movies and TV episodes from across your streaming services. It has features of Hands-Free Voice search powered by Google Assistant. It works seamlessly with Alexa smart devices, Apple AirPlay 2 and HomeKit.
This TV has extremely narrow bezel and its minimalist one slate design with metal flush harmonizes with decor of your living room. The TV an be positioned on a stand or mounted on a wall.
The 65 inch BRAVIA A80J OLED TV, model XR-65A80J is priced Rs. 299,990 and will be available from 18th June onwards across all Sony Centers, major electronic stores and e-commerce portals in India. The prices of 77 inch and 50 inch models will be announced soon.
