Brand Tecno has launched today Tecno POVA 2 smartphone in India with massive 7000mAh battery with 18W Dual IC Fast Charger. This phone sports a 6.9” FHD+ tiny dot-in display (1080 x 2460 pixels) with 90% screen-to-body ratio, 180Hz Touch sampling rate, 386 PPI pixel density and 480nits brightness. This phone is powered by a Helio G85 Octacore 2.0 GHz Processor paired with a Mali-G52 GPU. Its in-built HyperEngine Game Technology ensures superb image quality, smooth game-play and uninterrupted connectivity as claimed by Tecno. Other gaming features include Game Space 2.0, Game Voice Changer, System Turbo 2.0 for a good gaming experience.
The POVO 2 is armed with AI Quad Camera comprising of 48MP primary camera with F1/79 aperture, 2MP Macro lens, 2MP Depth lens and 2MP (AI Lens). The rear camera set-up has a Quad LED Flash and comes with various features such as 2K QHD Time-lapse, Eye Autofocus, Video Bokeh, Slow Motion etc. For selfie, this phone comes with 8MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture. The front camera supports multiple formats of still photography with a 2X Zoom.
This phone comes in two variants of 4GB LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB internal storage and 6GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB internal storage which can be further extended up to 256GB with microSD card. This phone supports Dual Nano SIMs and has dedicated slot for microSD card. This phone runs on Android 11 with layer of HiOS 7.6.
For security, the POVA 2 is equipped with Side Finger Print Sensor that can be used to accept calls, Take Pictures, Dismiss Alarm. The Side Finger Print Unlock has a 0.24 seconds Fast Unlock as claimed by Tecno. The Face Unlock 2.0 enables closed eye protection and screen fill in light to protect the data & privacy of its users. For connectivity, this phone offers options of USB Type-C,GPS/ GLONASS/ Beidou, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz) and Bluetooth 5.0.
POVA 2 will be available on Amazon from 5th August midnight in two variants at a Special launch price of INR 10,499 for 4GB+ 64GB and INR 12499 for 6GB+ 128GB for limited period only. After this period POVA 2 will be priced at regular prices of 10999 (4GB) and 12999 (6GB). This phone comes in three colors of Dazzle black, Polar Silver and Energy Blue.
