That Indians prefer to head for hill stations during summer is reflected in TripAdvisor’s recent Summer Vacation Value report. TripAdvisor, the travel planning and booking site has revealed in its 2016 Travellers’ Choice awards for India’s Hill Station Hotels and Lodgings that the preferred choice of Indians are hill spots. The top 10 destinations selected by it are hill stations which shows penchant of Indians for hilly terrain far from the madding crowd.
As per the report, Himachal Pradesh continues to dominate the list for the fourth consecutive year with seven winning properties, followed by Jammu and Kashmir with three. Also, Sikkim made it to the list for the first time with The Elgin Mount Pandim Pelling ranked 15th.
